More children suffer from juvenile arthritis (JA) than muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and cystic fibrosis combined. This year’s Arthritis Foundation fund-raising Main Event will be at Reid Park in Tucson on Saturday, December 5th, 2009 with check-in beginning at 9 a.m.

The video below is from a “Kristi’s Kids” segment on Tucson local news. The girl featured in the video is named Maddie. There is a brief advertisment that will play before the actual Kristi Tedesco feature begins.

    Don’t know if you have looked at this but the CDC found that the level of severeness for osteo-arthritis was higher for African Americans and Hispanics, in spite of lower prevalence amongst these groups. The report was published in the May issue of Preventing Chronic Disease.
